i got to see this last year -he hasn't found a doctor yet that will graft the ear onto his arm but he has successfully grown 3 1/4 scale replicas of his ears. they have to be 'fed' and they eventually die but grafted to his arm, they should live. they're not meant to be hearing aids. he wants to pipe streaming audio through it and have the ear speak and literally have something up his sleeve.
